Beard Growing.

Hey Bloggists,
Beard or Not Beard.
I have decided to venture out and do something new. I have decided to grow a beard. Yea I figured the weather is approperate now to examine what my life would be like with a beard. I grew one over 2 years ago but since then I have been clean shaven. So I have decided to re-try this time. The beard is part of my new way to look author like. I figured I looked a few older with the beard and now I am going to try it again. So far I am on Day 2 of my growing the beard. So far nothing really has grown. I still feel like a guy who hasn't shaved. But eventually the beard will be growing. So I am going to send you up to date photos of how the beard is growing.
So far, its going well. I take that my beard will look nice. But once it looks really fucked up I am going to quickily shave it off.
First off, why should I grow a beard? One, it would give me character. 2 It would be different. 3. The last picture I had of me and my beard I looked damn good. 4. I have no more razor blades. 5. I always thought my beard would be great to have before I turn gray. So I take off my beard once its a certain element.
So while it is somewhat winter time in Texas, growing the beard will be approperatly time to grow it. I know during the summer it will be hot but I figured, this way while its still a bit cooler to grow my beard. I plan on growing my beard till April 12 by that time I will have been shaven and clean cut.
So I won't do the ZZ Top growing or an Orthodox Jew Beard but a nice red beard would look nice. I plan on keeping it trimmed as well.
A lot of great people had beards. 1)Lenin eventhough I am not a communist) 2)Abe Lincoln and Ulysses S Grant (heck they were Presidents)3) Santa Claus (Hey the guy is cool) 4) My dad grew a beard. So all in all my opitions of not shaving is not out being lazy but to try to bring back the style. I was thinking of growing a mustache but I can't do that. I also don't want to look like a 70s porn star.
Well, I am going to take pictures a week or so to show you how it looks. If it looks like shit, then I'll decide to shave it off. First photo is me clean shaven. Its an old pic but it will serve of what my former face looked like.

My best friend Michael loves this guy. I still don't know why.
Are you religious yet?
Many Discoveries. So little time.
Taking this day.
I woke up this morning, and the first thing I noticed was that my hair was dry. Sure it really doesn't matter whether or not my hair was dry but I just noticed it. Things here are pretty laid back. I haven't really done much to keep myself from being bored been busy working. Yea I know it comes as a shock to all of you but I did do some work. I have to figure out what's wrong with me. I have been awake and then back to sleep in odd times. So I took my day of sleeping into a day of work.
I have thought of way to enjoy the day. First off, I am going to work on my book and then i settle on finishing something I had been working for the last two days. I have been feeling less then compelled to finish it but I did it just to feel good.
Well today I finally done. I have been trying to find ways to end something. Today I plan on doing it. Rant Rant Rant.

Hey mommy, I didn't know they allowed Bears inside the Stadium.

Why is it that we are always surrounded or in behind The Fat Hairy Guy at every game. Now answer me this one. How many times has this fat ass been told put a shirt on? Rule 1 if I were supreme leader of the world Fat and Hairy Guys are Required to wear there shirts at all time, in sporting events. .

I finally Received my X-mas Story
You know the really sad and pathetic part is that this year I was missing my Christmas story. I have for you know as many years waited to hear a great Christmas story. Well eventhough its 2006 and that Christmas was a week away I needed my Christmas fix. So this adaptation of the Night Before Christmas has really made me in the festive mood.
A Very Rumsfeld Christmas
A Visit From St. Rummy
'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through IraqNot a soldier was peaceful, prepared for attack.Their weapons were hung on their shoulders with care,For fear that insurgents soon would be there.Their comrades were nestled restless in beds,While sad dreams of families danced in their heads. The trumpet hailed darkness with a rendition of Taps,And all settled in for their uneasy naps. When out on the runway there arose such a clatter,Soldiers sprung forward, fighter jets scattered. When, what to their wondering eyes should appear,But a spectacled man in full battlegear. With a manner abrasive, and a little faux-chummy,They knew in a moment it must be St. Rummy. With reckless bravado, his entourage came,And he whistled and shouted and called them by name:"Now Wolfie! Now Pearly! Now, Cheney and Condi! On, good old boy Bremer! On, General Tommy! To Baghdad! Fallujah!Don’t tremble or fall!Soon Tehran and Syria! We’ll blast away all!"His jaw firmly set, his eyes tightly squintedIn the lens of his glasses, confidence glinted.A national icon, a media charmer,He knows that real men don’t wear body armor. His rumbling swagger and grumbling tones,Shook all the world to the core of its bones.Nothing about him was frivolous, jollyOr flaky, effeminate or subject to folly. He’d come to give soldiers their holiday presents:Perpetual violence and local resentment;Cutting pay & vets benefits and even more:He’d signed all of them up for an additional tour.Strong peacetime strategy? A good exit plan? Not from our Rummy, a true manly man.Instead he gave greeting cards wishing them health…but didn’t take time to sign them himself. He snapped a few photos, was then on his way,Readying his return to the U-S-of-A.,The soldiers missed home, their families and pals.Rummy offered a word to boost their morale.“We fight wars ,” he explained, so firm and so gaunt,With the armies we have, not the armies we want.”Then shouted as the chopper lifted from sight,"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good fight!"
Well, if that isn't a great story I don't know what is. For me a staunch liberal, its a great story and It can be shared to many who agree with me.
Well happy 2006 to all of you. I hope that you all follow your resolutions till the end of the month. I guess I should start with mine.
